Continuting the Field Hockey Legacy

​In 1990 Linda Saubier started Rising Sun Area Field Hockey Club as a training program for youth field hockey players in and around Cecil County, Maryland.  In 2016 Linda Saubier was looking to retire and she began the transition of turning over the club to Katie and Julie.  In 2017 Katie and Julie became the Co-Directors of Rising Sun Area Field Hockey club.  With the change of administration Katie and Julie changed the name of the club to Sun Field Hockey. Katie and Julie strive to create a welcoming environment for athletes of all ages and abilities to have opportunities to play the great sport of field hockey!
